I’M BACK IN BUISNESS; & IT’S BEEN A WHILE..
Monday, 13 December 2010

IMG_0087bwHey peoples. I know it’s been a while, hence the post title; thought I’d better give a little update. So if you live in the UK or watch international news or whatever, you’ll know that 2 weeks ago; practically the whole country was under a blanket of snow. On Monday the 6th of December we got more snow, approximately 10cm in just under an hour, now that’s damn heavy, especially where i live as we’re right beside the North Sea, and when you’re next to water you don’t get much snow; well let me tell you.. we got a lot of it. Schools & College’s were off for 12 days continuously, they were supposed to re-open on the 6th of December, until it started snowing at 5:30am and didn’t stop for 5 hours. So eventually things got back to normal by Thursday 9th. Now it’s the 13th of December and there is still 2inch thick ice on the pavements & roads. Our government had fair warning that this was going to happen as it happened last year as well, apparently they learned lessons from last year, but unfortunately we haven't seen any of those this year. My Mother & Grandmother are both disabled and can’t get out of the house as they might fall and break a hip or something. It’s shocking, What’s the point in having the MET office if the government doesn’t take heed and prepare for heavy snowfall. Just look at places like Iceland and North Canada they get like, 17ft of snow a night sometimes, but they continue as normal because they prepare for all and any eventuality. Anyway, rant over.

Christmas is just around the corner. Ooh I’m so excited; please oh, please let Santa bring me a 32GB wifi enabled iPad. Lol. Well must dash, got a cosmetology portfolio to get finished (that's Make-Up to you & me)

Love
